18th National Student Subject Olympiad Held in the "Library Science" Educational Program

The Olympiad provided future library specialists with an excellent opportunity to expand their professional knowledge and hone their creative and research skills. Participants demonstrated their theoretical understanding and presented innovative ideas through practical tasks, showcasing their mastery of modern approaches to information management. Thus, the competition boosted the students' professional growth and paved the way for them to explore new directions in digital-era library science.
In accordance with the official regulations, the Olympiad was held in three stages:
- Introductory Stage
- Theoretical Stage (questions on library science, bibliography, information culture, and digital resources)
- Practical Stage (defense of projects on the topic "Modern Digital Library Model")
Each stage thoroughly evaluated the participants' knowledge, skills, and professional competencies.

1st Place- "Bilim Shamshyroqtary" team – Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
