Our students excelled at the 'Soz Ghumyry' national student-youth competition

Students from the department of Kazakh language and literature achieved impressive results at the 'Soz Ghumyry' national student-youth competition,  dedicated to the prominent writer, ethnographer, historian and folklorist Zeinolla Sanik.

This national competition, held on April 24, 2026, in the city of Semey, became a significant spiritual event aimed at nurturing respect among the younger generation for language, literature, and national heritage.

Smart and talented students from across the country competed in the event.

With the support of Senior Lecturer Olzhas Musabekuly, Nurbol Saiynov, a student of group Fi-25-1k in the "6B01711 – Kazakh Language and Literature (IR)" program, delivered an exceptional performance, securing third place.

Aselya Amangeldiyeva, a fourth-year student from group Fi-22-5k2 of the educational programme "6B02310 – Philology", was also honoured with an encouragement award. Diana Nurzhanova (group Fi-22-5k2) and Ulan Smagul (group Fi-23-5k) were recognised for their active participation and received  letters of appreciation.

The competition consisted of three stages: the "Zeinolla Sanik Taghylymy" poetry contest , an expressive reading contest and an essay competition.

Congratulations to our active and talented students on their achievements!
