From 20 to 24 April 2026, a delegation from the university, led by the Chairman of the Board and Rector, Darkhan Akhmed-Zaki, attended the international summit, organised with the support of Arizona State University.

The summit brought together university leaders from Asia, Europe, the United Kingdom, Latin America, the Middle East and North Africa, and served as an important international platform for exchanging best practices and shaping strategic directions in higher education.

The summit programme focused on transforming the global educational landscape, particularly by integrating innovative technologies and artificial intelligence solutions to enhance educational quality and expand international academic cooperation.

The university delegation participated in strategic and thematic sessions on international rankings, the evolution of global higher education and the implementation of innovative teaching methods. Additionally, delegates participated in expert discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions with representatives from Cintana Education partner institutions.

As part of the itinerary, participants toured the Arizona State University Polytechnic campus, where they were introduced to modern engineering education models, advanced industrial infrastructure and state-of-the-art academic initiatives.

A highlight of the summit was Rector Darkhan Akhmed-Zaki’s participation in plenary sessions with Arizona State University President Michael Crow. These sessions presented ASU's achievements, innovative approaches and strategic vision for the future of higher education, while emphasising Cintana Education's pivotal role in establishing a global network of ASU partner universities.

Following the summit, key priorities were outlined to strengthen international collaboration, advance joint educational and research initiatives, and promote projects in artificial intelligence and digital learning technologies.
