On April 10-11, 2026, Shymkent will host a number of events within the framework of "Francophone Spring" - an international cultural festival dedicated to the French language and Francophone culture.
Dear students! We invite you to learn more about French culture and take part in an international cultural festival full of interesting meetings and impressive evenings!
EVENT PROGRAM:
The official opening of the exhibition "Restoration of Notre-Dame de Paris" will be held on April 10 at 10:00 a.m. (Pushkin Library, Kazybek Bi street, 13A).
On April 10, at 11:00 a.m., a meeting of students with the General Consul of France Mr. Maxim Zherenzh, organized by the Consulate of France at the University of South Kazakhstan named after M. Auezova (Main building, assembly hall, Tauke Khan str 5).
On April 10, at 17:00, a free screening of the animated film "The Pharaoh, the Savage and the Princess" will be held in the "NauryzPark" cinema (Baydibeka Bi avenue 25 ) with the participation of the General Consul of France Mr. Maxima Zherenja.
On April 11, at 19:00, the VOYOU concert will be held (Shymkent City Opera and Ballet Theater, Askarova Street, 43/2).
