In order to enhance the university’s reputation among the academic community and employers, Gulzhanay Dosanova, a Master's student and lecturer in the Department of Computer Engineering and Software, organised a meeting with distinguished alumni occupying senior positions in various sectors across the country.
The alumni who attended the meeting were:
Nurzak Duyssenov, Vice-Rector for Academic and Methodological Work at the Central Asian Innovative University (PhD, Associate Professor);
Samat Mukushev, Head of the IT Department at the Shymkent City Multidisciplinary Oncology Hospital;
Erkebulan Utzhanov, Lead Engineer of the IT Group at the Southern Regional Centre of the KEGOC JSC branch;
Nuray Saparali Kanatkyzy, Communications Engineer at National Information Technologies JSC.
During the interview, the alumni spoke about their achievements since graduation, while also emphasising the importance of professional development for future specialists. They also highlighted the necessity of English proficiency to become a competitive professional in the digital age, and offered students valuable advice on how to expand their knowledge.
This meeting inspired the students, demonstrating a modern path of career development and instilling confidence in their future.
