Online Lecture by Expert SHIN HAGYUN on “The Ideal Role of Influencers in Kazakhstan” Held at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University
M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University continues the implementation of the course “Integration Processes of Central Asian Countries” with the support of the Eurasia Foundation (from Asia) grant and the participation of international lecturers.
On March 17, 2026, an online lecture was delivered for students of the Department of Political Science by visiting lecturer SHIN HAGYUN on the topic “The Ideal Role of Influencers in Kazakhstan”.
During the lecture, issues related to the influence of opinion leaders on the formation of public values, the development of digital communication, and the role of influencers in contemporary Kazakhstani society were discussed. Special attention was paid to the social responsibility of influencers, their role in disseminating reliable information, and their contribution to fostering a positive public discourse.
The event was aimed at developing critical thinking, media literacy, and analytical skills among Political Science students in the context of the modern information environment.
