“Student Satisfaction with Living Conditions in the Dormitories of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University.”
The Department of Sociological Research conducted a survey from September 26 to October 5, 2022, titled “Student Satisfaction with Dormitory Living Conditions at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University.”
The purpose was to identify the combination of social and psychological factors influencing students’ satisfaction with dormitory living conditions, which directly affects the quality of education at the university.
Research Objectives:

To assess students’ satisfaction with dormitory living conditions;

To analyze the execution of extracurricular educational activities for students in the dormitories;

To identify the main problems faced by students in the dormitories;

To evaluate students’ living standards and social well-being conditions for academic activities.
Research Location: Dormitories №1, 2, 4, 5 of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University.
Survey Method: Questionnaire administered to students residing in the dormitories.
A total of 731 students out of 1,203 residing in dormitories №1, 2, 4, 5 participated in the survey. The overall response rate was 60%.
In general, 92.3% of respondents expressed satisfaction with the current situation in the dormitories.
