First-Year Student Questionnaire for the 2021-2022 Academic Year
LEVEL OF SATISFACTION WITH THE CHOICE OF UNIVERSITY AND PROFESSION AMONG FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS FOR THE 2021–2022 ACADEMIC YEAR
(ANALYTICAL REPORT)
The foundation of the effective functioning of a modern higher education institution is the continuous improvement of the quality of educational services provided and the satisfaction of the interests of all stakeholders. In this regard, it is necessary to respond quickly or organize activities based on the demands of consumers. One of the ways to study consumer satisfaction with educational services is through surveys.
The sociological survey “First-Year Student” was conducted in accordance with the work plan of the Department of Sociological Research from February 7, 2022, to February 18, 2022.
Purpose and objectives of the survey:

To identify the adaptation problems of first-year students at the university;

To analyze first-year students’ satisfaction with their choice of university and profession;

To identify problems encountered in student life;

To assess students’ satisfaction with the learning conditions at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University.
The object of the study was first-year full-time students. A total of 2,224 respondents participated in the survey, which represents 60% of the student body at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University.
