Center for formation of projects

Main tasks of the Center:

- conducting regular monitoring of websites of grants, searching for competitions in scientific areas of the university, informing structural divisions about announced competitions for fundamental, applied, search risk, scientific and technical and innovative projects;

- attracting the teaching staff to participate in scientific, scientific and technical, innovative competitions, contributing to the development of the university as a single educational, scientific and innovative complex.

Main functions of the Center:

- provide assistance to the university scientists in the preparation of applications for competitions of scientific projects and grants held by ministries, foundations and organizations;

- collect and analyze research topics of submitted scientific applications in priority areas of science;

-create a database of scientific applications submitted for competitions;

- provide explanatory and organizational support to scientific supervisors in filling out an application for the requirements of competition documentation, prepare information materials on the rules and requirements for submitting scientific applications for funded grant and initiative competitions;

- conduct individual consultations, collective scientific and methodological seminars, webinars and trainings on the preparation of applications for the requirements of tender documentation;

- provide advice to the university staff in working with the information system of JSC “NCSTE” (www.ncste.kz) in the application process.

Main tasks of the Center:

- organizational and technical assistance to the scientific leaders of funded research in the implementation of grant, program-target-oriented, international, initiative-based contractual projects;

- conducting analysis and reporting on the progress of projects on grant, program-target-oriented, international, initiative-based contractual research;

- assistance in the creation of a modern experimental-production base for the provision of research work on grant, program-target-oriented, international, initiative-based contractual projects;

- ensuring timely awareness of project managers about the competitions announced in the Republic and abroad for fundamental, applied, search risk, scientific, technical and innovative projects.

Main functions of the Center:

- preparation, execution and maintenance of contracts, additional agreements on grant, program-target-oriented, international, initiative-based contractual projects;

- preparation, execution and maintenance of acts of completed works, annotation, annual, interim and final reports on grant, program-target-oriented, international, initiative-based contractual projects;

- preparation, execution and maintenance of business contracts with industrial enterprises, scientific and educational institutions, commercial firms and companies for the implementation of research work, development and transfer of scientific and technical products;

- creation and maintenance of information database on grant, program-target-oriented, international, initiative-based contractual projects;

- maintenance of internal documentation for grant, program-target-oriented, international, initiative-based contractual projects;

- conducting cameral monitoring of grant and program-target-oriented projects;

- presentation of information to the departments of the university within the framework of their field of activity;

- interaction with the commercialization office on the implementation and use of scientific research results, provision of material, technical, financial and other conditions for practical implementation of projects, creation of pilot industries, assistance to small businesses in obtaining information, methodological services and implementation of practical projects;

- preparation, production and distribution of information materials on the activities of the Center.

Main tasks of the Division:

- economic assistance to scientific supervisors of grant, program-target-oriented, international, initiative-based contractual research in the implementation of projects;

- conducting analysis and reporting on the progress of projects and budget applications for grant, program-target-oriented, international, initiative-based contractual research;

- assistance in the creation of a modern experimental-production base to ensure research and development and commercialization of technologies for grant, program-target-oriented, international, initiative-based contractual projects.

Main functions of the Division:

- form a common base for the distribution of funds of grant, program-target-oriented, international, initiative-based contractual projects;

- prepare and execute cost estimates of business contracts with industrial enterprises, scientific and educational institutions, commercial firms and companies for the implementation of research work, development and transfer of scientific and technical products;

- technical and economic support of projects, preparation of a general application for the purchase of materials and equipment and supervisory responsibility of the purchase of equipment for grant, program-target-oriented, international, initiative-based contractual projects, control over the use of equipment purchased by research laboratories, research centers and research institutes at the expense of funded projects;

- registering the available laboratory and research equipment purchased for the funds of grant, program-target-oriented, international, initiative-based contractual research projects, regulation of the processes of equipping the scientific laboratory base;

- conducting cameral monitoring of funded projects;

- check, receipt of estimate documentation in the prescribed manner.
