Sarykulov Kurmangaly Rakhimberdiyevich

Kurmangaly Sarykulov was born in 1974 in the Kazygurt district of the Turkistan region.
In 1995, he graduated from the Karaganda Higher School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan with a Law degree.
He began his career in 1995 as a research fellow at the Karaganda Higher School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 1997 to 2000, he held a series of teaching positions at the same institution, progressing from lecturer to adjunct to senior lecturer.
From 2000 to 2007, he served as Head of Department at the Academy of Financial Police.
From 2007 to 2008, he worked as Deputy Head of Department in the Financial Police Authorities.
From 2008 to 2009, he was an associate professor in the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan State University.
From 2009 to 2015, he was Dean of the Faculty of Law and International Relations at the same university.
From 2016 to 2018, he was Head of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Forensics at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan State University.
From 2018 to 2019, he was Head of Department at the Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, named after Shyrakbek Kabylbayev.
From 2020 to 2021, he was an associate professor in the Department of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University.
From 2021 to 2024, he was Dean of the Faculty of Law at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University.
From 2024 to 2025, he was Acting Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at the same university.
Since April 2025, he has been appointed Member of the Board – First Vice-Rector of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University.
Kurmangali Sarykulov has been awarded the II and III Class Medals “For Impeccable Service” by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
