Purpose of the EP

Training specialists who are able to independently select and apply organizational, applied and scientific foundations of metrology for various industries, evaluate and analyze the current state of metrological support for production, testing and measurement based on knowledge of the provisions and requirements of the measurement integrity system, normative documents in the field of metrology

РО 1 Communicate freely in the professional environment and society in Kazakh, Russian and English, using the methods of scientific research and academic writing, the principles and culture of academic honesty.

РО 2 Demonstrate socio-cultural, professional development based on the formation of ideological, civil, spiritual and social responsibility, methods of scientific and experimental research.

РО 3 Possess information and computational literacy, the ability to generalize, analyze and perceive measurement information, set a goal and choose ways to achieve it when designing measuring instruments using mathematical modeling methods.

РО 4 Plan work in the field of metrological support of production, modern achievements in instrumentation, the market for measuring instruments manufacturers, the need for workers and measuring instruments, updated regulatory documents on metrology.

РО 5 Ability to perform work on verification/calibration of measuring instruments and modernization of instruments and automation equipment, special measurements in the course of technological processes and experiments for compliance with established accuracy standards.

РО 6 Carry out regular monitoring of the state of measuring instruments and equipment, installation and use, processing of the obtained data necessary for the preparation of reports on plans for metrological support of new production facilities with the removal of obsolete, unusable measuring instruments and equipment.

РО 7 Possess the skills of technical reading, accurate measurements of the actual values of controlled parameters, sorting and classification of legal documents in the field of mechanical engineering and funny areas, metrological control and accounting for the applied SI, MVI, SS, working standards.

РО 8 Analyze the causes of MI failures during operation, violations of the technological regime, the cost of raw materials, materials, energy associated with the state of MI in production.

РО 9 Carry out metrological and technical control over MI, update the reference verification base for verification / calibration of MI, certification of IO, work with the Registry of the GSI RK, web services in the field of technical regulation and metrology of the CIS countries, CU / Evra ES.

РО 10 Development of internal documents of the metrological service of the enterprise, the choice of equipment and measuring instruments, the qualimetric assessment of the technical level of products, apply the provisions of the legislative and regulatory documents of the SSI RK

РО 11 Use research and entrepreneurial skills when certifying/ declaring quality and safety indicators of objects of the conformity assessment system.

РО 12  Work effectively as an individual and as a member of a team, correctly defend your point of view, using various methods and demonstrating skills in self-education and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
