A commission meeting on tuition fee discounts for students was held

A special commission meeting on providing tuition fee discounts to students was held at Auezov University.
During the meeting 871 applications submitted by students from the university’s faculties and higher schools were comprehensively reviewed. The committee members examined the documents submitted to ensure they complied with the university’s approved regulations and carried out a preliminary assessment of the applications.
The provision of tuition fee discounts at the university is aimed at providing social support to students, creating favourable conditions for their education and encouraging student achievement and active participation in university life.
According to the university’s Regulations, tuition fee discounts are available to the following categories of students:
-orphans and children without parental care;
-students with disabilities;
-students with a parent who has a disability;
-students from low-income families;
-students who have two or more siblings from the same family studying at the university on a fee-paying basis.
In addition tuition fee discounts are предусмотрены for students who have achieved outstanding results in creative and sporting activities or actively participate in community service. These measures are intended to enhance students motivation, develop their abilities and encourage their active involvement in university life.
Please note that the final decision on granting tuition fee discounts will be made after the matter has been considered at a meeting of the University Academic Council. The final results will be officially announced.
