Strategic partnership in practice: UPM scholars shared their expertise

As part of the Program to attract foreign specialists for teaching activities at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University, 6 leading scientists from our strategic partner - University Putra Malaysia (UPM), have arrived at our university.
University Putra Malaysia is ranked among the world's leading universities, holding the 138th position in the QS World University Rankings 2027 and the 22nd position in the QS Asia University Rankings 2026.
The foreign experts are conducting lectures, seminars, master classes and research consultations for students, undergraduates, doctoral candidates and faculty members in the fields of information technology, computer science, food safety and information systems.
During the visit a meeting took place between UPM scientists and the university management and faculty representatives, discussing prospects for implementing joint educational and research projects as well as the further development of international cooperation.
