From April 28 to 30, 2026, the 14th Kazakhstan International Occupational Safety and Health Conference and Exhibition, "KIOSH 2026," was held at the EXPO International Exhibition Center in Astana. This large-scale event was organized by the Republican Scientific Research Institute for Occupational Safety and Health under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The conference program addressed key issues such as advancing safe labor concepts, fostering a safety culture in society, digitalizing occupational health and industrial safety, building human resource capacity, and developing risk assessment and control mechanisms. The event served as a major platform for industry specialists, international experts, and researchers to exchange experiences and propose effective solutions.

To support industrial safety standards and share practical scientific knowledge, Lazzat Imamadinovna Ramatullayeva - Candidate of Technical Sciences, Professor, and Head of the Department of Life Safety and Environmental Protection - participated as a speaker. During the session, Professor Ramatullayeva delivered a presentation titled "Occupational Safety and Industrial Safety: Modern Trends and the Role of Education," offering evidence-based insights and recommendations on current industry challenges.

The "KIOSH 2026" conference remains a key international platform for promoting modern approaches and innovative solutions in occupational safety, aiming to improve overall workplace safety standards.
