Auezov University Council of Mothers Attends International Forum in Taraz

An international forum of the National Council of Mothers titled "The Role of the Mother in Shaping a Conscious Society," organized by the Department of Information and Social Development of the Zhambyl Region Akimat, was held in Taraz. The large-scale event brought together chairs and activists of the Council of Mothers from all regions of Kazakhstan, as well as delegates from Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkey, to discuss family values and the mother's role in society.

The primary goal of the forum was to strengthen the institution of the family, elevate the social status of mothers, and promote upbringing rooted in national values.

Representing M. Auezov SKU at the forum were Gulnar Zhanysbekova, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Head of the Center for Personality Development and the APK, and Chair of the University's Council of Mothers; council members Zhuparkul Aulbekova and Ulzhalgas Temirova; and Gulnaz Parmenkulova, leader of the "Tumar" team.

At the opening ceremony, Nazipa Shanai, Chair of the National Council of Mothers and member of the National Commission for Women's Affairs and Family-Demographic Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, emphasized the critical importance of mothers and the Council of Mothers in raising a conscious generation.

During the plenary session, Professor Eke Uchan Nagehan of Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University (Turkey) delivered a presentation on family values, while Yulia Denisenko, a lecturer at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, addressed pressing societal issues. Chairs of the Council of Mothers from various regions of Kazakhstan also shared their regional practices and experiences.

This insightful gathering provided university representatives with an invaluable opportunity to exchange best practices.
