On 15 April, a unique couples' competition for young people was held in Shymkent to celebrate Kozy Korpesh – Bayan Sulu Day. This day has become a symbol of love and loyalty.

This event was organised by the Shymkent Youth Resource Center and brought together university students to celebrate the values of love, trust, and harmony.

Students from six higher education institutions took part, demonstrating their knowledge, ingenuity, and romantic chemistry across various stages. The mutual understanding and support between the couples created a vibrant, youthful vibe.

Competition results:

First Place: M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University – Aibek Seidakhmet and Aida Abdimazhit

Second Place: Central Asian Innovation University – Muslim Armanuly Kuat and Anelya Zhuparbek

Third Place: South Kazakhstan Medical Academy – Marabi Ganiuly Meiram and Moldir Orazbek

Cash prizes were awarded as follows:

First Place: 100,000 KZT

Second Place: 70,000 KZT

Third Place: 50,000 KZT

All participants also received valuable gifts, special nominations, and commemorative certificates. The evening concluded on a festive note, filled with genuine energy.
