An event titled “A Book is an Invaluable Treasure” was held today in honour of National Book Day, the 'One Country – One Book' campaign, the literary works of Kabdesh Zhumadilov and Librarians' Day.

This important occasion deepens our respect for one of mankind's greatest treasures – the book – and strengthens the vital bond between readers and literature. Books are not only a source of knowledge and information; they are also a reflection of a nation's history, culture, and spiritual heritage. The wisdom, history, values and traditions passed down by our ancestors continue to reach future generations through books.

During the event, Indira Kablanqyzy Saurbayeva, Director of the Information and Educational Center, and Erasyl Anarkhanuly, Director of the Youth Center, highlighted the importance of this day. During the evening, students recognised the creative legacy of writer Kabdesh Zhumadilov by performing poetry and songs dedicated to him, and the event culminated in an awards ceremony.
