From April 6 to 12, 2026, the Kickboxing World Cup for seniors took place in Bangkok, Thailand. Kazakhstani athletes performed outstandingly, proudly representing their country.

One of these athletes was Laura Nishanbay, a student from group ST-23-3r1 of the Faculty of Sport and Tourism at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University. She delivered a brilliant performance at this prestigious international tournament and won first place.
