Auezov University hosted a round table in honour of International Ecologist Day

Auezov South Kazakhstan Research University held a special event to celebrate International Ecologist Day. The Department of Ecology at the Higher School of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology organised a roundtable discussion "Assessment of the Environmental State of the Turkestan Region and Ensuring Sustainable Development Through the Implementation of Green Technologies".
The event was well attended by faculty members, young scientists and students from the department. Special guests included department alumni working in the environmental sector. They congratulated the participants, shared their professional experience, raised pressing environmental issues and emphasised the importance of protecting nature.

The Acting Chairman of the Shymkent City Branch of the 'Amanat' Party, Erbol Baykonyssov, congratulated the specialists on their professional holiday and presented party awards to employees who had contributed to the development of the environmental sector.
The Head of the Ecology Department and Associate Professor, Aisulu Abduova, was awarded the 'Excellence in Ecology' badge of honour by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in recognition of her professional dedication and scientific achievements.
The meeting helped to promote environmental awareness and encourage collaboration among specialists.

- Kyrykbaev – Director of the Boralday Branch of the “Syrdarya-Turkestan” State Regional Natural Park;
- Mategova – chemical engineer at “'Kazhydromet” RSE for the city of Shymkent;
- Malik – Research Fellow at the A. Askarov Shymkent State Dendrological Park;
- Nazarbek – Employee of the Boralday Branch of the “Syrdarya-Turkestan” State Regional Natural Park.
