Ruslan Yemelbayev, Advisor to the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, paid a special visit to M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University, during which he assessed the admissions committee's preparations for the 2026–2027 academic year.
The Acting Rector of the university, Gani Besbayev, briefed the Advisor on the progress of the admissions campaign, providing comprehensive information on student enrolment, document processing, advisory services and the application process for the state educational grant competition.
Ruslan Yemelbayev also spoke with applicants for the dual-degree bachelor's program implemented jointly with Arizona State University, and engaged in an informal discussion with them.
He emphasised that this international program enables young people to receive a world-class education and earn an international degree, and encouraged the applicants to take full advantage of this opportunity.
At the end of the meeting, Ruslan Toktarbekuly praised the work of the admissions committee and wished all applicants success in their future careers.
