A capsule marking the foundation of the new Honors College educational space has been laid at Auezov University

On April 30, delegations from Arizona State University and Cintana Education visited M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University. As part of this visit, a ceremonial capsule-laying event was held on the university campus to mark the establishment of the new Honors College educational space.
The ceremony was attended by Julia Rosen, Vice President for Global Academic Initiatives at the Office of the Provost of Arizona State University. She emphasized the significance of this project in strengthening international ties.
This initiative is a symbol of a new era in the university’s development, aimed at building an educational ecosystem of international standing. The future campus is planned to feature modern classrooms, laboratories, digital learning spaces, and innovative centers that support students’ research initiatives.
The Honors College campus will provide gifted students with opportunities to develop their intellectual potential, refine leadership skills, and receive high-quality education aligned with global standards.
In addition, the project will stimulate the implementation of joint educational programs with international partners, expand academic exchange, and enhance the region’s human capital.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further strengthen strategic partnership and systematically implement joint projects.
