AUEZOV UNIVERSITY AND SEOUL NATIONAL UNIVERSITY LAUNCH JOINT RESEARCH PROJECT

As part of the scientific project AR23487689 "Development of an economic and mathematical model for improving the efficiency of natural resource use in agriculture in the Turkestan region, preventing climate change", scientists from M. Auezov University of South Kazakhstan visited the Graduate School of International Agricultural Technologies of Seoul National University (Pyeongchang, Republic of Korea). The delegation included the head of the project, Head of the Department of Economics, Altyn Makhmudovna Yessirkepova, a junior researcher, doctoral student of the DEF-23-1a group, Mahmud Dinara Marlenkyzy, as well as the project executor, graduate student of the University of Milan Serikova Rosa Nurgalievna.
The main purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the research results of scientists from Seoul National University on climate change prevention, as well as to study modern approaches to improving the efficiency of natural resource use in the agricultural sector. Within the framework of the work program, the issues of developing models of interaction between energy-efficient agricultural structures were considered, the infrastructural features of the production complexes of the Republic of Korea were studied.
In addition, the delegation conducted research aimed at forming proposals for creating economic conditions for the effective functioning of agricultural structures, including issues of capital, resources and other factors. Special attention was paid to an analytical review of foreign experience contributing to the sustainable development of agriculture in the face of climate change.
The visit to Seoul National University became an important stage in the development of international scientific cooperation between M.Auezov South Kazakhstan University, the expansion of academic contacts and the study of advanced foreign experience. The results of the visit will be used in the further implementation of the project and in research activities aimed at developing modern mechanisms for improving the efficiency of natural resource use in agriculture in the Turkestan region.
