Laura Nishanbay won gold at the World Cup

The Kickboxing World Cup for adults took place in Bangkok, Thailand, from April 6 to 12, 2026.Our Kazakhstani athletes performed brilliantly, representing our country with great honour.
Among them was Laura Nishanbay, a student of a group ST-23-3r1 at the Faculty of Sport and Tourism at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University, and she performed brilliantly to win first place at this prestigious international tournament.
Winning a gold medal at a competition where the world’s strongest athletes compete is an outstanding achievement and an important victory for our country.
