Memorial evening: “Mukagali– Eternal life”

M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University held a literary and musical evening titled "Mukagali – Eternal Life" to mark the 95th anniversary of the birth of the poet Mukagali Makataev.
The event was organised by Gulnaz Parmen Kulova, PhD in Philology and Senior Lecturer in the Department of Russian for Technical Specialties at the Faculty of Architecture, Construction and Transport. The program was presented in a TED-style format and featured poetic reflections, creative dialogues and an open-mic session.
Students of group SM-25-5k1 recited the poet’s works and presented staged performances based on his life and literary legacy. They also performed musical and dance numbers. They also shared their own original poems in dedication to the poet, expressing their sincere respect for him.
The event, organised with the support of the Information and Educational Center, was a great success, sparking young people's interest in literature and receiving high praise from the audience
