May 15, 2018 Auezov South Kazakhstan State University with a working visit of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Kazakhstan Dirk Jan Kop.

During the visit, the Ambassador met with the acting Vice-Rector for Strategic Development Aimenov Zh.T., where the parties discussed issues of cooperation with universities in the Netherlands.

Within the framework of the visit, the Ambassador delivered a lecture for the students of the Faculty «Jurisprudence and International Relations» on the bilateral relationship between Kazakhstan and Netherlands, where he also spoke about the socio-economic development and about a small 25-year cooperation with Kazakhstan.

Summing up the meeting acting vice-rector for strategic development Aimenov Zh.T. thanked the distinguished guest Dirk Jan Kop for the visit and expressed his hope for further fruitful cooperation in the field of education and science.
