COOPERATION WITH LEADING FOREIGN UNIVERSITIES INCREASES

Internationalization of Higher Education: INT-KZ Universities Partnership forum was held at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University . 12 delegations from the universities of the USA, Great Britain, Ireland, Australia, and Canada participated in the forum. Chairman of the Board of M. Auezov University of South Kazakhstan - Rector M.A. Kairat Nurmanbetov delivered a congratulatory speech and thanked the guests who participated in the forum.
Rector of Eurasian Technological University Yerbol Suleimenov noted that this is the second year that the forum has been organized.
- Last year's forum was attended by representatives from 8 UK universities. This year, the forum is organized in higher educational institutions in the regions. The meeting is a good opportunity to increase communication and cooperation between the city of Shymkent and universities in foreign countries. Branches of leading foreign universities are opening in Kazakhstan with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. I am confident that this forum will open the way to such opportunities, - said Yerbol Suleymenov.
Gintaras Steponavičius, Director of Cormack Consultancy Group for Central and Eastern Europe, Caucasus, Ukraine and Central Asia, who participated in the forum, said: "This company supports the strengthening and development of international partnership activities between universities around the world. "Kazakhstanian higher education institutions have international experience in this direction in the last decade," he noted.
Within the framework of the forum, international universities presented their opportunities individually. The delegation gathered at the round table with the leadership of Auezov University. Ulan Suleymenov, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work and Innovations of the University, presented the achievements of the University in the field of scientific research. Cooperation issues and future perspectives were also discussed.
