The Week of Nobel Lectures, held in April, the month of science and technology, is coming to the end.
Today, April 16, 2021, the last lecture in the field of physical sciences took place. The lecture was led by an American theoretical physicist, one of the founders of string theory, professor at the California Institute of Technology - John Schwarz, winner of the Breakthrough Prize in fundamental physics 2014.
The lecture was devoted to string theory, which took place with a long break for questions and answers. Various points of view regarding string theory have been discussed. Participants from M. Auezov SKU took an active part in this lecture asking questions, for example, about the influence of string theory on mathematical formalisms. The lecturer answered all the many-sided questions regarding this theory.
Today - April 16, 2021, the Nobel Lecture Week will end. We have only two lectures ahead: one on medicine and the other on chemistry.
Don't miss the final lectures of Nobel Week!
