A roundtable discussion was held with the best graduates of the "Food Engineering" Department
In order to enhance the image of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University among the academic community and employers, the Department of Food Engineering organized a round table with the participation of the department’s best graduates, faculty members, and students. The invited guests included Kenzhegul Rakhimovna Musaeva, Chief Specialist of the Employment and Competence Center; Nailya Zufarovna Raikhel, Chief Technologist of “Barys 2007” LLP; Eldarbek Rustamzhanovich Turgunov, Incoming Quality Control Engineer at Shymkent Syra; Bakhramkhan Alikhanovich Ismailov, Technologist at “Sairam Nan” LLP; and Vladimir Alexandrovich Rylskikh, Assistant Technologist at “Aknan” LLP.
The round table organized between the university’s distinguished graduates and students was conducted at a high level. The main purpose of the event was to develop students’ professional orientation, facilitate the exchange of experience, and improve the university’s image.
During the meeting, the university graduates shared their career paths, professional achievements, and experiences gained during their studies. In addition, the participants discussed the current requirements of the labor market, ways of becoming a competitive specialist, and issues related to professional development and self-improvement. Students asked questions, and the graduates shared their advice and recommendations. Special attention was paid to internships, international training opportunities, language learning, and the development of modern professional skills.
As a result of the round table:
- students’ interest in their chosen specialty increased;
- professional connections were established between graduates and students;
- agreements were reached on experience exchange and the organization of joint events in the future;
- the importance of the university and the alumni community was promoted.
At the end of the event, the participants expressed their gratitude to the organizers and emphasized the importance of holding such meetings on a regular basis.
