A meaningful event dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day and Victory Day was held.
At the Faculty of History and Pedagogy of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University, a festive concert titled “Honoring Heroism – Respecting Statehood – Our Greatest Duty” was successfully held in celebration of Defender of the Fatherland Day on May 7 and Victory Day on May 9.
The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty Urazbayev Kurmangali Markhabatuly, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs Akimbayev Akhmetzhan Abdikadyrovich, faculty members, and students.
The main purpose of the event was to honor the bravery of the defenders of the nation, promote patriotism among young people, preserve historical memory, and highlight the value of peaceful life.
During the concert, students performed patriotic songs, presented theatrical performances, and recited poems. Special tribute was also paid to war veterans and defenders of the homeland for their courage, dedication, and selfless service to the country.
The event was organized by Senior Mentor of the Department of General History and Archival Studies Turgumbayeva Akbota Seidaliyevna, Senior Mentor of the Department of General Pedagogy and Psychology Toleshova Akerke Abdimanapkyzy, Senior Mentor of the Department of Theory and Methodology of Preschool and Primary Education Altayeva Nazymkul Adilkhanovna, as well as active students of the faculty.
The festive concert created a warm atmosphere, gave the audience joyful emotions, and left lasting impressions. Such meaningful events play an important role in fostering patriotism among the younger generation.
