An Open House Day Was Organized for Applicants
On April 30, 2026, in accordance with the university’s career guidance plan, an Open House Day of the Faculty of History and Pedagogy was organized for graduating school students of Shymkent.The event was held at 11:00 a.m. in the assembly hall of Building No. 9 of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University.
Modern career guidance is an important system that, on the one hand, takes into account a person’s individual abilities and needs, and on the other hand, the requirements of the labor market, helping applicants make the right career choice.
During the event, the Dean of the Faculty of History and Pedagogy, Associate Professor Kurmangali Urazbayev, spoke about the opportunities and achievements of the faculty.
The Head of the Department of General History and Museum Studies, Associate Professor Gulzhan Otarbayeva, emphasized the importance of choosing a profession, noting that it is one of the most responsible decisions in life. She also gave a detailed presentation on the advantages of педагогical specialties.
The Head of the Department of General Pedagogy and Psychology, PhD, Associate Professor Akkenzhe Usenova, provided comprehensive information about the faculty’s educational programs, material and technical facilities, and academic process.
A representative of the university’s military department, retired Lieutenant Colonel Sultan Toktybayev, explained the admission procedure and selection stages for students wishing to enroll in the military department.
As part of the event, active students of the faculty prepared musical performances and quiz games. The school graduates were wished success in the Unified National Testing and high results. All questions from participants were fully answered, and informational materials about the university and faculty were distributed.
