History of deparment

The history of the department "Theory and methodology of preschool and primary education" of the faculty "History and Pedagogy" of the South Kazakhstan State University named after M. Auezov began in 1996. From 1997 to 2000, the department was headed by candidate of pedagogical sciences, professor Moldabek K. In 2001, the department was divided into two parts :"Theory and methods of teaching science subjects in primary schools "(Head of the Department, candidate of pedagogical sciences, Associate Professor Iskakova L.T.) and "Theory and methods of teaching philological subjects "(Head of the Department, PhD, Professor K. Moldabek). From 2003 to 2005, the Department of "Theory and Methods of Teaching Philological Disciplines " was headed by Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Abibullayeva A. B.

In 2007, two departments were merged into the Department of "Theory and Methods of Preschool and Primary education". The head of the department was appointed Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor L. T. Iskakova. From 2012 to 2017, the department was headed by Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor S.M.Sikhimbayeva "Best university teacher " in 2013. In 2017-2020, the department was headed by Candidate of Philological sciences., Associate Professor, member of the Union of Journalists of the Republic of Kazakhstan Urazbayev K. since January 2020, the head of the department. Since January 2020, the head of the department is candidate of pedagogical sciences, Associate Professor V.Yermekbayev.

Base of practice

Kid garden №122 "Students of the specialty 6B 01210-Pre-school education and upbringing also completed practical training in kid garden No. 122 "Ak kogershin", No. 45 "Akku", No. 5 "Nursat" students has practice. On the Republic Day, a historic event took place in the Shymkent City microdistrict - a ceremonial raising of the national flag to the highest height in the city. The event was attended by the Deputy Dean for Educational Work of the Faculty of History and Pedagogy A.A. Akimbaev, the curator of the TP24-20r (IP) group U.T. Urazbakova, and students. The flag was raised on a 100-meter-high flagpole. The huge 30×15-meter banner now proudly flutters over the city, becoming a symbol of patriotism. The height of the new flagpole testifies to the dynamic development of Shymkent and the city's aspiration for new heights. The state flag, soaring upward, creates a special atmosphere of cohesion and pride, uniting everyone under one banner.

In the 2024-2025 academic year, the Faculty of the department conducted career guidance work in schools in Tulkubas district, Ph. D., associate professor M. Yermekbayev, Ph.
