Monuments and Historical Sites – The Nation’s Treasure.
On May 30, 2025, within the framework of the Department of History of Kazakhstan's agenda, the department’s faculty members and students organized an expedition to the Sayram Museum, part of the “Shymkent City Museum Association” in the Sayram district.
During the event, participants toured the museum's exhibition halls and familiarized themselves with historical artifacts and spiritual heritage. A museum serves as a golden bridge between the past and the present, bearing witness to human civilization and the spiritual and cultural wealth of a nation.
The expedition continued with visits to the mausoleums of Ibragim Ata and Karashash Ana. Each monument is not only evidence of its era but also a reflection of the history and culture of the entire nation.
This excursion had a significant impact on raising students’ and young people's awareness of the importance of preserving sacred sites and their responsibility toward historical heritage.
Monuments and historical sites represent the cultural and historical wealth of the people. This initiative became an important step in helping students discover the history of their native land and fostering a sense of patriotism.
