Philology without borders: culture and communication
On April 18, 2025, an international meeting with master's students of the Dresden University of Technology (Federal Republic of Germany) was held at the M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University as part of the academic mobility program.
The event was held under the title “Philology without Borders: Culture and Communication” and was aimed at developing scientific cooperation in the field of philology, as well as strengthening international academic ties.
During the meeting, master's students presented reports on current issues in modern linguistics, intercultural communication and issues of philological education. Following the presentations, a thematic networking event was organised, allowing participants to discuss the topics under study in an informal setting, exchange ideas and outline possible areas of cooperation.
In addition, an interactive educational game “Field of Words” was held for guests, aimed at developing linguistic intuition and expanding linguistic horizons. The game became a bright conclusion to the meeting and contributed to the further strengthening of intercultural dialogue.
