On December 5, 2025, the Faculty of Mechanical and Petroleum Engineering of M.Auezov South Kazakhstan University hosted a working visit of a delegation of leading scholars. The delegation included Professor, PhD Mohanraj Murugesan (Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology, India), Erzhan Belyaev (Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Almaty), and Amankeldi Toleukhanov (Satbayev University, Almaty).

The guests were welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty, O. Baiyssbay, who conducted a tour of the educational and research laboratories, including the O.S.Balabekov Laboratory, the Laboratory of Multiphysics Modeling of Structures, Devices and Processes, the IRLIP "KBM" Laboratory, the Educational and Research Laboratory of Mechanical Testing named after Academician A.I.Ainabekov, as well as the laboratories of “Theory of Mechanisms and Machines,” “Materials Science and Casting Processes,” “Manufacturing Engineering,” “Fundamentals of Design and Machine Parts,” and the Educational and Research Workshop for Manufacturing Technologies.

During the visit, the professors delivered a guest lecture for the academic staff, focusing on increasing publication activity and the commercialization of scientific research. The scholars also shared their experience and research findings in the field of heat pump technology.

The visit contributed to strengthening academic cooperation and the exchange of scientific expertise, opening new prospects for further collaboration.
