From May 12 to 13, an international scientific and practical conference entitled “Problems and Prospects of Implementing Artificial Intelligence Technologies in Teaching Foreign Languages and Literature” was held at Karimov State Technical University. The conference was devoted to current issues of implementing artificial intelligence in the educational process, modern trends in the digitalization of education, and the prospects for developing innovative methods of teaching foreign languages and literature.This scientific event brought together leading scholars, educators, researchers, and specialists in the field of education who presented the results of their studies, exchanged practical experience, and discussed modern approaches to integrating digital technologies into the system of training future specialists.On May 12, representatives of the Department of Foreign Languages for Technical Specialties actively participated in the conference as invited speakers, presenting scientific reports dedicated to current issues of digital transformation in language education.The Head of the Department, Zhorabekova A.N., delivered a presentation entitled “The Role of Digital Adaptive Learning in the Training of Future Foreign Language Teachers”, introducing modern approaches to the use of adaptive digital learning in the preparation of future foreign language teachers. The presentation addressed opportunities for personalizing the educational process, applying intelligent educational platforms, and improving the effectiveness of developing students’ professional competencies.PhD, Senior Lecturer Mominova S.M. presented a report entitled “From Chalkboard to Chatboard: AI Tools in the Teaching Process”, focusing on the transformation of traditional teaching methods through the use of artificial intelligence tools. During the presentation, modern AI tools, opportunities for their integration into the educational process, and prospects for improving teaching quality and expanding interactive learning opportunities were demonstrated.The participation of the department representatives in this international conference became an important platform for exchanging scientific ideas, discussing current educational trends, and strengthening international academic cooperation. The presentations generated considerable interest among conference participants and once again confirmed the relevance of the department’s research in the field of digitalization of language education and the implementation of innovative technologies in the learning process.On May 13, as a continuation of the international conference, the department lecturers conducted a practice-oriented master class for the academic staff of the department dedicated to modern digital technologies and the possibilities of applying artificial intelligence tools in the educational process.The master class was organized in an interactive format and became a platform for sharing experiences, discussing contemporary educational challenges, and demonstrating practical tools capable of increasing the effectiveness of foreign language teaching. Particular attention was paid to the integration of artificial intelligence into the educational environment, the use of adaptive digital platforms, the automation of certain stages of the learning process, and the creation of interactive educational content.During the event, participants became familiar with modern AI tools and had the opportunity not only to explore theoretical aspects of their application but also to participate in practical activities aimed at developing teaching materials, creating interactive exercises, and optimizing lesson preparation.The master class attracted significant interest among the academic staff, contributed to the development of participants’ professional competencies, and created a favorable platform for the further implementation of innovative educational technologies into the learning process. Participants highlighted the practical significance of the presented material, the relevance of the discussed issues, and the opportunity to apply the acquired knowledge in their own teaching practice.
