On May 19, 2026, I.K. Kulmahanova, Senior Lecturer of the Department of "Power Engineering and Renewable Energy Sources", conducted an open practical lesson on the discipline "Electric Drive Control Systems" on the topic "Calculation of Maximum Current Protection for an Asynchronous Electric Drive". The students learned the calculation algorithm for maximum current protection, how to create a relay protection map, and how to ensure uninterrupted operation of the asynchronous drive. Critical thinking methods made it possible to combine knowledge with practical calculations and evaluate the reliability and safety of engineering solutions.
