A Republican Methodological Seminar on “The Teacher of a New Generation” Held at M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University
On October 2, 2026, a methodological seminar entitled “The Teacher of a New Generation: Digital, Evidence-Based and Inclusive Pedagogy. Mentoring” was held at the Main Building of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University.
The event was conducted in a hybrid format, allowing participants to attend in person or join online via the Zoom platform.
The seminar brought together heads of departments, chairs of Faculty and Higher School Academic Quality Committees, as well as developers of educational programs in the field of 6B01 – Pedagogical Sciences.
The participants were welcomed by Rysgul Orynbassarovna Kudretullayeva, Member of the University Board and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, who wished everyone a productive and engaging session.
The seminar focused on a number of pressing issues in contemporary education:

Teacher Education in the Context of Artificial Intelligence Integration.
Barna Makhamatovna Khamitova, Head of the Educational and Methodological Center, presented current trends and key areas in the development of teacher education. -
Inclusive Educational Environment.Zauret Berdikulovna Kabylbekova, Professor of the Department of General Pedagogy and Psychology, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, delivered a presentation entitled “The Teacher in an Inclusive Educational Environment of a Modern Kazakhstani University: From Systemic Challenges to Professional Competencies.”

Teaching in an Artificial Intelligence Environment.
Negmatzhan Shadimetovich Almetov, Professor of the Department of General Pedagogy and Psychology, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, highlighted the specific aspects of psychological preparation for teaching professionals working in an artificial intelligence-driven environment.
The seminar concluded with an open discussion and an exchange of views among participants attending both in person and online via Zoom. The discussion provided an opportunity to reflect on current challenges in education and explore approaches to strengthening the professional competencies of future-generation teachers.
