Water and climate: Docent of the Agrarian Faculty took part in the international session of Blue Peace Central Asia

Docent of the Department of Water Resources, Land Use and Agrotechnology of the Agrarian Faculty Sultanbekova Parida took part in the specialized Session 2.5 "Water Management Taking into Account Climate Impact".The participation of a representative of our faculty emphasizes the active role of the university in solving transboundary environmental problems in the region.
Parida Synabaevna acted as an expert and member of the Community of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Practitioners (CoP4WASH). This community is supported by the Blue Peace Central Asia initiative to promote sustainable water management in the face of global climate change.
Session 2.5 discussed critical issues:
Adaptation of water management to climate risks.
- Introduction of innovative technologies in water supply and sanitation systems.
- Strengthen regional cooperation between scientists and practitioners to ensure water security.
Participation in such forums under the auspices of Blue Peace allows you to integrate international best practices into the educational process of the department. This enables students of the Agrarian Faculty to study on the basis of the most up-to-date data on the state of water resources in Central Asia.
The faculty team congratulates Parida Synabaevna on her successful participation in the international expert platform and wishes further success in research activities for the benefit of the development of the agro-industrial complex.
