Auezov University held a gala event dedicated to two holidays: "The Defenders of the Country Are Men. The Path to Victory Is an Example for Descendants."

A day celebrating courage and patriotism!

Today, Auezov South Kazakhstan University held a celebratory event dedicated to May 7, Defender of the Fatherland Day, and May 9, Victory Day.

The event, titled "Defenders of the Country—Men, the Path to Victory—An Example for Descendants," began with the raising of the national flag and the playing of the national anthem.

During the event, Darkhan Akhmed-Zaki, Chairman of the Board and Rector of the University, delivered a congratulatory speech, noting that both holidays hold great historical and educational significance for the people. In his speech, he emphasized that the heroism and steadfast spirit of our batyr ancestors are an eternal example for the current generation, and congratulated the university staff on Defender of the Fatherland Day and Victory Day.

During the event, several university staff members were awarded for their conscientious work and professional achievements. Letters of gratitude were presented by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, and the Head of the Military Department, Colonel Zhakyp Kenzhebayev, was awarded the medal "For Impeccable Service." In addition, several members of the Military Department were presented with letters of gratitude from the university rector for their contribution to fostering patriotism among young people.

The evening's concert program further enhanced the festive atmosphere. Energetic dances and patriotic musical numbers on stage fostered a strong sense of love for the Motherland. Through their creative work, university students reminded students of the value of peaceful life and revived the spirit of Victory.
