Knowledge Day: The Faculty of Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering and Oil and Gas Engineering Welcomed First-Year Students
On September 1, a welcoming and orientation event for first-year students was held at the Faculty of Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering and Oil and Gas Engineering to mark Knowledge Day.
On the first day of the new academic year, the faculty warmly welcomed the freshmen who had taken their first steps into university life and wished them a successful start to this important new stage of their education.
During the event, first-year students met with the faculty administration and academic staff of the departments. The faculty administration provided students with information about the organization of the educational process, the specific features of their chosen academic programs, academic regulations, and the opportunities available to university students.
Particular attention was paid to introducing the freshmen to the structure of the faculty and the main areas of activity of its departments. Faculty members spoke about the features of professional training and emphasized the importance of acquiring both theoretical knowledge and practical skills throughout the learning process.
The students were also introduced to the faculty’s material and technical facilities. They visited classrooms and laboratories and became familiar with modern equipment and technical resources used for educational and practical training.
The orientation event provided first-year students with an opportunity to adapt to their new academic environment, get to know the faculty community, and gain a better understanding of the educational process ahead.
The faculty staff wished all first-year students academic success, an exciting and fulfilling student life, outstanding achievements, and confident professional growth.
Happy Knowledge Day! May the new academic year bring new opportunities, meaningful experiences, and great achievements to every student!
