On 10.05.2026, Senior Lecturer Karzhaubekova S.S. of the Department of Information and Communication Technologies organized an educational and informative excursion to the Museum of Victims of Political Repression for the mentoring group IP-25-11k2. The main purpose of the event was to develop students’ historical awareness, promote national values, and provide comprehensive information about the consequences of the period of political repression in the history of the country.During the экскурсия, participants became acquainted with the museum exhibitions, historical documents, archival materials, photographs, and exhibits reflecting the difficult periods of the 20th century. In addition, students received important information about the lives of the Alash intellectuals and innocent victims of political repression, as well as their contributions to the independence of the country and the future of the nation.The museum staff gave detailed information about the historical events of the political repression period and explained the severe impact these events had on the fate of the people. During the экскурсия, students asked questions of interest and obtained new historical knowledge.This meaningful event not only increased the students’ interest in the history of their country, but also contributed positively to the development of patriotism and national spirit.
