Students of the Department of General History and Museum Studies are undergoing industrial (practical) training at the Shymkent City State Archive.
Third-year students of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University, Faculty of History and Pedagogy, Department of World History and Museum Studies, majoring in 6B02220 “History,” group TP-23-5kr, are undergoing industrial (professional) practice at the Shymkent City State Archive from January 12 to February 22, 2026. As part of the practice, the students familiarize themselves with the activities of the archival institution, as well as with the specifics of document storage and systematization. The group curator, Akbota Seidaliyevna Turgumbayeva, delivered an introductory lecture on the role of archives in preserving historical heritage.
