INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE AT THE NUKUS BRANCH: SHARING EXPERTISE AND NEW HORIZONS IN CULTURE AND ARTS
From October 21st to 23rd, 2025, the Nukus Branch of the State Institute of Arts and Culture of Uzbekistan hosted the international scientific-practical conference titled "Trends in the Development of Culture and Arts in the New Uzbekistan." This event brought together leading experts, researchers, and practitioners in the field of culture and arts from various countries to discuss current issues and future prospects for the industry in the face of contemporary challenges.
A delegation from the South Kazakhstan Research University participated in the conference. The delegation included: Otarbaeva G. K., Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of "General History and Museum Studies," who presented a report on "The Modern Librarian: Harmony of Traditions and Innovations», Seitimbetova D., Master's degree holder, Senior Lecturer, who also presented at the conference with a report on "Scientific Communication and Legal Aspects of Access to Scientific Information."
In addition to participating in plenary sessions and breakout sessions, they conducted a series of masterclasses for students of the "Library Science" department at the Nukus Branch. Participation in this international conference marked a significant step in strengthening cooperation between M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University and the Nukus Branch of the State Institute of Arts and Culture of Uzbekistan.
It also facilitated the exchange of experience and knowledge in the realm of culture and arts. The conference provided our faculty members with an opportunity to present their research findings on an international stage and establish new professional connections.
