At the Agrarian Faculty, a high meeting of the leadership of the faculty and members of the Shymkent branch of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences (NAAS) of the Republic of Kazakhstan with leading fruit growers from the Republic of Turkey took place. The parties discussed the integration of advanced scientific achievements in the development of horticulture in the Turkestan region.

The discussion was attended by the chairman of the Shymkent branch of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, academician Parzhanov Zhanibek Anuarbekovich, academician Azhimetov Nurzhan Nurmakhanbetovich, dean of the Agrarian Faculty, scientific secretary of the Shymkent branch of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Tastanbekova Gulnara Rakhimberdyevna, as well as TICA representatives and leading experts in the field of agricultural science.

The key topics of the dialogue were:

- Technology transfer: Adaptation of Turkish methods of intensive gardening to soil and climatic conditions of Southern Kazakhstan.

- Joint research: Design of joint experimental areas on the basis of the faculty for the study of new varieties of fruit crops.

- Academic mobility: Preparation of joint educational programs and the possibility of scientific internships for undergraduates and young scientists of SKU named after M.Auezov in leading agricultural centers of Turkey.

Gulnara Rakhimberdyevna emphasized that combining the resources of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences and the educational potential of the faculty with the international experience of Turkey will create a powerful cluster for an innovative breakthrough in domestic gardening.

The meeting ended with an agreement to hold joint field seminars, publish scientific publications and introduce digital technologies in the management of vegetation processes in gardens.
