The delegation of the Agrarian Faculty, headed by the dean and consisting of 50 leading teachers, took part in a historical event - the First Congress of Mathematicians of Kazakhstan, which was held in Shymkent from April 3 to 7, 2026. The large-scale forum brought together more than 500 scientists to discuss the role of mathematical methods in the development of modern technologies.

The participation of such a representative group of farmers emphasizes the importance of mathematical modeling in agriculture. The sections discussed issues of artificial intelligence and data analysis, which today are the foundation of smart farming and precision farming.

The delegates attended plenary sessions in the Turkestan Palace and sectional work on the basis of SKRU named after M. Auezov. Particular attention was paid to conferences on computing technologies and applied artificial intelligence.

Participation in the congress was an important step in strengthening the scientific potential of the faculty and establishing interdisciplinary ties with leading scientific schools of the country and abroad.
