Scientific achievements of the faculty - to the world digital space: results of the Wikipedia seminar

The Language Policy Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a training seminar "Algorithms for posting articles on Wikipedia". Deputy Dean for Research and Innovation of the Agrarian Faculty, PhD Saule Sherimova took an active part in the event.
During the seminar, participants studied the technical and ethical standards of the largest online encyclopedia in the world. Particular attention was paid to:
- rules for data verification and work with authoritative sources;
- algorithms for creating and editing articles in the scientific segment;
- tools for popularizing science through open digital platforms.
Participation in such workshops allows faculty members to effectively represent scientific schools, biographies of outstanding scientists and the results of university research in a global network. This directly affects the recognition of the faculty and the citation of its experts.
The acquired skills will be used to fill Wikipedia with relevant information about the achievements of the Agrarian Faculty and its contribution to the development of agriculture.
