Agrarian faculty celebrated Nauryz with a large university family

On the 19th of March, 2026, students and faculty of the Agrarian Faculty took an active part in university-wide celebrations dedicated to the spring renewal holiday - Nauryz meirama. The holiday united all faculties and structural divisions of the South Kazakhstan Research University named after M. Auezov in an atmosphere of friendship and healthy rivalry.
The holiday began with an impressive event called "Kimeshek Sheruі", in which 100 mothers in kimeshek parading performed their favorite folk song "Saulem-ai". Further, the Chairman of the Board-Rector of the University Darkhan Zhumakanovich Ahmed-Zaki made a welcoming speech, noting the importance and importance of the Nauryz holiday. He wished every home well-being, prosperity and unity.
Representatives of the Agrarian Faculty attended a festive concert filled with dombra sounds and folk songs, sharing the joy of the spring holiday with colleagues and friends. However, the main vector of participation of the faculty was sports. Our faculty defended the honor of the faculty in traditional national sports games. Langi, lifting weights and tug of war competitions have become a real test of strength and teamwork.
Participation in such games on the day of Nauryz symbolizes the continuity of the traditions of the steppe batyrs and strengthens the collective spirit of the university.
