The work of the International Winter School Auezov University has ended at the Faculty of Agriculture - 2026

On January 23, 2026, the closing ceremony of the International Winter School Auezov University - 2026 took place on the topic: «Artificial Intelligence in the Agricultural Sector and Resource Management», organized by the team of the Department of Water Resources, Land Use and Agrotechnology of the Agrarian Faculty of the South Kazakhstan Research University named after M. Auezov.
In their reports, scientists of Kazakhstan noted that digital technologies and solutions based on artificial intelligence are being actively introduced in the agro-industrial complex of the country. These tools help farmers improve production efficiency, optimize resource use and ensure transparency of all processes. 648 agricultural producers are already using digital solutions in their activities. This indicator has a positive trend and continues to grow as the practical application of technologies and the interest of farmers expand.
Of the total number of enterprises, 396 farms are introducing digital technologies in crop production, 211 in animal husbandry, 41 enterprises in the field of agricultural processing.
During the winter school, scientists, teachers and specialists from Russia, Belarus, China, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan also spoke, who noted that the digitalization of the agro-industrial complex is becoming one of the key factors in sustainable agricultural development, ensuring its technological modernization and increasing food security of all countries.
Upon completion of the winter school, the speakers received letters of thanks, and the participants received certificates.
