Scientists of the Agrarian Faculty held an international online forum on the topic: «Sustainable development of animal husbandry: global challenges, priorities and effective solutions»

On the 10th of December, 2025, scientists from the Department of Crop Production and Animal Husbandry of the Agrarian Faculty held an international online forum on the topic: «Sustainable Development of Animal Husbandry: Global Challenges, Priorities and Effective Solutions».
Traditionally, the opening of the online forum was held in the format of a plenary meeting with the participation of the dean of the faculty, associate professor, corresponding member of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gulnara Tastanbekova, head and scientists of the Department of Crop Production and Animal Husbandry, as well as leading domestic and foreign scientists from universities and scientific institutions of Kazakhstan, Karakalpakstan and Uzbekistan.
Opening the plenary session of the forum, Gulnara Tastanbekova noted that today animal husbandry faces serious challenges: the growth of the world population, climate change, the need for the rational use of natural resources, increased requirements for quality and safety of products. These challenges can only be answered through joint efforts - the development of innovative technologies, the introduction of environmentally responsible approaches, the strengthening of international cooperation and the building of sustainable production chains.
