According to the results of the 2nd stage of the Republican Research and Development Competition, students of the Agrarian Faculty of the educational program 6B08610 - "Water resources and water use" were among the winners. Thus, the scientific work "Providing drinking water for small settlements of the Turkestan region", author Yerkinkyzy A., scientific supervisor - Candidate of Technical Sciences, docent Kamshybaev A.A, was recognized as a diploma of the II degree. Diplomas of the III degree were awarded to scientific works "Water purification from petroleum products with modified adsorbents", author Altai D.N., scientific supervisor Duanbekova A.E., master and "Water purification combining aquaculture and higher technological method of agriculture", author Rahimzhankyzy A., scientific supervisor Tolesh A.B., master.

The republican competition was held at East Kazakhstan Technical University named after D.Serikbayev.
